Caroline Roth, LCSW

Pronouns: she/her

Caroline works with people who are capable, perceptive, and often harder on themselves than anyone else around them. Her approach is depth-oriented and collaborative—less about managing symptoms and more about understanding what's actually driving them.

Approach

Caroline’s work is relational and depth-oriented, integrating Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and mindfulness-based practices. She also draws from mind–body and contemplative perspectives to support emotional regulation, deeper self-awareness, and a steadier relationship with oneself. Her clinical thinking is shaped by ongoing study in psychoanalytic and depth psychology (including Freud and Jung), contemplative traditions, and the psychology of giftedness and twice-exceptional development.

Areas of focus

Caroline works with individual adults navigating demanding roles, high internal pressure, and transitions that can feel disorienting or destabilizing. Many clients are thoughtful and capable on the outside, yet privately contend with self-doubt, overfunctioning, imposter feelings, or creative blocks. Together, they explore the internal dynamics driving these patterns so clients can relate to themselves—and to others—with greater understanding, agency, and ease.
